The Technicians Who Install Your Equipment Are the Ones Who Answer the Next Maintenance Call
Xoda is a small field service crew working out of Austin. We install control panels, HVAC controllers, access hardware and automation modules, then we stay on the account — the same people, not a rotating list of subcontractors pulled off a dispatch board.
One Company, One Crew, Based in Austin
Xoda trades under that name at xodaqu.com and is based at 114 River Road, Austin, Texas 57664. It is an onsite equipment maintenance company and field service equipment technician business, not a call center that resells work to whoever answers first. Every quote you get on the phone comes from someone who has walked a plant room, and every technician who shows up on install day is on payroll, not a subcontractor pulled off a dispatch app.
We don't publish a founding date or a headcount because neither changes what we tell you on the phone: a small crew, working the Austin metro, that keeps its own job history on every site it touches. If you've had a panel installed by one company and serviced by three different ones since, this is built to be the opposite of that.

Install It, Commission It, Then Keep Coming Back
Xoda handles the equipment installation service Austin buildings need at some point: control panel installation and wiring termination, commercial HVAC controls setup and calibration, access-control hardware mounting and programming, and the automation modules and sensors that tie those systems together. That's the install side. It ends with a signed commissioning report, not a handshake.
The other half is the part most install crews skip: preventive maintenance contract work, billed per scheduled visit or as an annual service contract, plus same-day emergency dispatch when a system goes down. We also run retrofit projects — swapping aging control modules for current hardware without gutting equipment that still works — and remote monitoring, where a sensor logs data and someone reviews it weekly instead of waiting for a fault light.
What we won't do: we won't pull out a control panel that's working correctly just to sell you a new one, and we won't quote a repair over the phone if we haven't seen the fault code or the equipment tag first. If a part isn't in the van, we say that before the drive out, not after.
The Crew, Not a Subcontractor List
Two technicians usually work a site together for install day: one on the panel, one on the field devices, both reporting back to whoever wrote the commissioning report. That's deliberate. A control-loop calibration done alone, rushed, is where drift creeps in — the panel hums fine but the loop is off by a margin nobody notices until the third callback.
The van goes out stocked, not half-loaded: terminal blocks, common relay and sensor stock, a spare filter or two, meters that are actually calibrated. When the same crew comes back for a maintenance visit three months later, they're not reading someone else's notes cold — they're reading their own commissioning report and checking it against what they find.
That continuity is the whole pitch. A technician who knows they're the one coming back in ninety days makes different decisions on install day than one who hands the job off the moment the invoice clears.
What We Take, What We Turn Down
We take on commercial and light-industrial jobs across Austin: office buildings, retail units, warehouses, small industrial floors — anywhere with a control panel, an HVAC controller, an access system or automation hardware that needs installing or keeping running. A technical equipment service contract with us covers what we install or what we've inspected and signed off on first; we're not going to take over maintenance on a system we've never seen without walking it.
We turn down work outside that lane: we're not electricians for a whole-building rewire, and we don't do general handyman calls. If a job needs a licensed trade we don't carry in-house, we'll tell you that on the first call instead of taking the deposit and figuring it out on site.
Scheduling runs on two tracks. Planned work — installs, retrofits, preventive maintenance visits — books ahead on a calendar. Emergency repair and callout work runs same-day: the technician leaves within the hour of the call being confirmed, which is a different promise than "the truck rolls whenever it rolls."
Nobody Answers From a Script
Call +1 (596) 555-8253 and you get someone who can talk through the equipment, not a queue. Scheduled work — installs, retrofits, preventive maintenance — is answered on weekdays. Emergency calls for equipment-down situations are answered outside those hours too; that's the point of running same-day dispatch.
Email office@xodaqu.com if it's not urgent — a spec question, a site survey request, a follow-up on a report we already sent. We read it ourselves; there's no ticketing layer between you and the person who'll actually schedule the visit.
